Haze Seas Rework Status: Haze Studios is rebuilding Haze Piece into Haze Seas. Most mechanics below reflect proven Haze Piece systems and confirmed Haze Seas rework details. Bookmark our active Haze Seas codes page and Haze Seas beginner guide for the latest transition updates.
Haki is the backbone of mid-game and end-game power in Haze Piece and Haze Seas. Without Buso Haki, your damage against high-defense bosses flatlines. Without Observation, PvP duels become guesswork. This guide covers Buso Haki, Observation Haki, and the related movement trainers — Geppo and Flash Step — that every serious player unlocks alongside their first Haki stages.
Understanding the Three Haki Types
Buso Haki (Armament) wraps your attacks in invisible armor, boosting melee and fruit damage while letting you hit logia-style defenses. Observation Haki expands awareness — dodge windows, enemy ESP in PvP, and telegraph reading on super bosses. Conqueror's Haki, when available in-game, is a rare end-game layer reserved for high-level content; most players focus on Buso and Observation first. Treat Haki as permanent account progression, not a consumable buff.
How to Unlock Buso Haki
Sail to the second sea and locate the Buso trainer NPC marked on most community maps. Speak to the trainer, pay the introductory Beli cost, and complete the training minigame — usually breaking objects or landing combos within a time limit. If dialogue does not appear, verify your level and story progress; Sea 1-only accounts cannot start Buso. After the first stage, re-talk to the trainer to purchase higher tiers. Each tier increases damage multiplier and visual particle intensity on your fists or weapons. Enable Buso from the skill bar before farming or dueling; it drains over time and must be toggled again after death unless auto-Haki settings are enabled in menu options.
How to Unlock Observation Haki
Observation unlocks from a separate trainer, often on a sky or hidden island reachable after Geppo or ship travel. The quest chain may require finding NPCs in a fog zone or surviving waves of weak mobs while a meter fills. Observation levels improve range and duration — grind stages when you plan to PvP seriously. In boss fights, Observation helps track the Dragon Super Boss during jump phases. Pair it with max Buso before attempting Gear 5 content.
Geppo and Flash Step Trainers
Mobility skills are not Haki but share trainer locations on many maps. Geppo lets you air jump toward targets — essential for fruit raids and island hopping. Flash Step is a dash with short cooldown, favored in PvP for gap closes. Unlock both before farming rare fruits; spawn races are won by players who arrive first. Trainer fees mirror Buso costs — save Beli from active codes and quest rewards.
Training Order for New Players
- Reach second sea and level 200+
- Unlock Buso Haki stage one
- Learn Geppo for travel
- Start Observation if PvP or bosses are your goal
- Upgrade Buso tiers before spending on cosmetic Haki colors
Haki progression synergizes with sword upgrades — read our sword progression guide once Buso stage two is online. For a full account roadmap, start with the beginner guide if you have not cleared Sea 1 yet.
Haki Color and Visual Stages
Higher Buso tiers change the particle color on fists and swords — a cosmetic flex and a rough indicator of investment level in PvP lobbies. Some colors require additional beli or achievements after max tier; treat them as optional unless you stream or create content. Observation at high tier may show extended range indicators — practice in safe zones before relying on ESP-like awareness in ranked PvP areas. When Haze Studios adds Conqueror Haki stages during the rework, expect separate trainers and stricter level gates than Buso.
Debugging Locked Trainers
If a trainer refuses interaction, re-check sea progression — returning to Sea 1 to grind does not bypass Sea 2 gates. Some accounts bug after transfer; rejoin the server or relog Roblox entirely. Quest arrows pointing wrong after patches usually mean an NPC moved — consult map pages rather than spam-clicking empty coordinates.
